This tree in Magland near Chamonix in France is very well know by BASE jumpers. This is a location you have to jump at least once. We did this one during the winter which is not so usual. Normally there's to much snow. We were traveling around to make some BASE jumps and got a day off-piste skiing as well. In France BASE is no problem. As long as you don't cause disturbances nobody take any notice. The Netherlands are very flat, which means we can only make BASE jumps here from structures (Buildings, Antenna's and Bridges). To jump from mountains (earth) the closest place is France. Near Chamonix there are many spots high enough to make a few second of freefall. I jumped some of them.
